Handcrafted Wool from En Gry & Sif

Just in time for holiday shopping we have received our new En Gry & Sif items. Most are toys, but I've picked up a couple of items for moms, too. En Gry & Sif are two Danish ladies, Gry and Sif, who started a factory in Nepal employing the local crafters. They take great care with the environment and their employees, and are proud to support the UN Global Compact program for social responsibility. Read more on their site.

New this year is this unique handmade, wool train. It includes the two animals. Perfect for toddlers. We have two styles of wool doll house sets, the first comes with a bed, dresser and two dolls, the second comes with three dolls and a pram for the little baby doll. We also have an amazing crochet tea set that comes in it's own wool storage bag. You can purchase a set of wool tea cakes to go along with it. Cuddly crochet monkey dolls are available in two colours, and we also have pink floral ball with a chime inside.

For moms, we have two new ladies handbags. The crocus bag is a generously sized bag in brown wool with leather straps and bottom panel. Fully lined, zipper close. The beautiful floral crocus pattern is embellished with tiny beads. The silver maple bag is a compact cylindrical style, handcrafted of brown-grey wool with beautiful silver thread embroidery and silver beads.

Any of these items will be a great choice for eco-friendly, ethically traded gifts. Or you can just enjoy them for their handcrafted beauty.
